Onion Galette
I remember seeing this onion galette way back in 2020 on Bon Appetit’s website and immediately making it. It was so good. One of my favorite and easiest things to make are galettes. And I love having this savory version in my repertoire. It’s a bit more work that regular simple galettes but I find that it is so worth it!

Homemade Yogurt
Things have been getting pretty pricey lately and so I wanted to somehow cut some costs on certain foods my family and I regularly consume. One of which is yogurt! Who knew that it would be so easy to make your own batch of yogurt. All it takes is a few tablespoons of your old yogurt and milk. An added benefit is that you can also make it as tangy as you like.

Chocolate Vinegar Cake
I made chocolate vinegar cake, which may sound weird but is actually super interesting! It’s a Great Depression era recipe that uses pantry items to make a fluffy and airy chocolate cake. I don’t consider it one of the best cakes I’ve made, but it definitely is one of the easiest and simplest!

Earl Grey Panna Cotta and Blueberry Jello
This is my second part of making egg-less desserts since eggs have been either scarce or pricey lately.
I always wanted to try making panna cotta but never got around to it. So, I thought this would be the perfect time to try since it does not contain any eggs and I did! It was much easier than I thought it would be and I changed it up by adding earl grey and blueberries. You should definitely give this simple yet delicious dessert a try!

No Bake Cheesecake
I always crave cheesecake. But since there’s been a lack of eggs in America lately, I’ve been looking for recipes that don’t call for eggs. So here comes this no bake cheesecake! The recipe calls for creating texture with fully whipped cream and imparting flavor with a combination of cream cheese and mascarpone cheese with touches of vanilla and lemon. I don’t know which I prefer more now, the baked or no baked. It’s so good!

Lentil Soup
My family’s been sick with the cold lately so I wanted to make a hearty but healthy soup and so I decided on making some lentil soup! I like to pack my soup with as many vegetables as I can. I also love lentils and how they’re a great source of fiber and plant protein!

Apple Cider Rice Krispies Treats
I love rice krispies treats. So when I was thinking of making something with apples, I thought, why not make an apple cider rice krispies treat similar to an apple cider donut? And lo and behold, there was already a recipe online! haha. This rice krispies treat had a slight tang of the apple cider but I feel like it could have definitely used more of a stronger apple flavor.

Okonomiyaki
Have you heard of okonomiyaki? Its a japanese savory pancake dish consisting mainly of cabbage and batter. Its a highly customizable dish where you can add toppings and things from your fridge. In fact okonomi means as you like and yaki means grilled. So you can grill what you like.

Banana Pudding
Have you heard of Magnolia Bakery? They’re a super popular bakery most well known for their banana pudding, but did you know that they use instant pudding mix?! Even so, their banana pudding is still delicious haha. But did you also know that making banana pudding at home is super easy and so much cheaper? You can also use instant pudding mix if you like, but I like to make my pudding from scratch :)

Flourless Chocolate Cake
I love making flourless chocolate cakes as a birthday gift to friends. It’s so simple and easy to make yet tastes delicious! Also, I usually have all of the ingredients on hand. Can you believe that this cake consists of mainly four ingredients?! It has the perfect delicate balance between decadence and lightness. You should definitely give it a try!
